Associated Student Ambassador Program

Ambassador Program

What is the Ambassador Program?
Each semester, many decisions that affect students are made by campus committees. These committees include Butte College faculty, staff, and students. The students that attend these committee meetings are referred to as Student Ambassadors. During committee meetings, Student Ambassadors are asked to think critically about the issues being discussed and give input from a student perspective. Student Ambassadors will also report committee discussions back to the Butte College Student Government board.

Being an A.S. Student Ambassador allows you to be involved with important decisions that are made on our campus and to be a voice that represents all Butte College students!

When do Ambassadors Meet?
Committees typically meet 2-4 times a month. To learn more about when specific committees meet, contact the interim A.S. Advisor, Kim Scott at scottki@280760.com

Do Ambassadors Get Paid?
Student Ambassadors get paid $20 for each meeting they attend.
